“Everyone has that picture.
The picture that makes you stop and think, “Wow… is that really what I look like?
For me, it was a picture of me holding my son. That was my turning point. Looking at that photo, I realized how unhealthy I had become. I didn’t want to be the mom who couldn’t keep up with her child. I didn’t want to be the mom who had to tell her son she couldn’t ride something with him because she wouldn’t fit.
I told myself I was going to change. I was going to eat better, work out, and lose weight.
Then life happened. We bought a house, and those plans got pushed aside.
It wasn’t until July that I truly committed. I cut out the extra sugar. I stopped drinking soda and sweet tea. I started meal prepping, paying attention to what I was eating, and working out at home. Through those changes alone, I lost 30 pounds.
Then January 1st came around. Like every other year, my New Year’s resolution was to lose weight. But this time, something was different.
I texted Kelly and told her I wanted to join Ignite 90.
When I started the program, Kelly did a body composition analysis and metabolism testing. She taught me how many calories my body naturally burns, how much protein I should be eating, and how to structure my nutrition to reach my goals. She gave me a workout program and the tools I needed to succeed.
Did the workouts kick my butt? Absolutely.
Did I want to quit sometimes? Absolutely.
But Kelly was there every step of the way, encouraging me, holding me accountable, and celebrating every victory along the journey.
Today, I can proudly say I’ve graduated from Ignite 90 and I’m officially 100 pounds down.
The transformation has been about so much more than weight loss. I’ve gone from hiding when someone wanted to take my picture to actually posing for them. I’ve gained confidence, strength, and a healthier future for myself and my family.
This journey has truly been life-changing, and I’m so grateful I decided to take that first step.”
